Sautéed Green Beans with Garlic and Flaked Almonds

INGREDIENTS

  • 250g Freshly Fine beans
  • 5 large garlic cloves
  • Handful of flaked almonds
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • Salt & Pepper

METHOD

  • Rinse your fine beans and set them aside to lightly airdry.
  • Slice your garlic cloves into thin circles.
  • On a low heat, lightly toast the flaked almonds (1-2 minutes) or until golden.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the sliced garlic. Fry till fragrant, but not golden. Add in the green beans, season with salt and pepper, and fry 6-8 minutes until cooked and slightly tender.
  • Before serving top your green beans with the toasted almond flaked!
